Peter Opsvik AS is a small team committed to carry forward and enriching Peter Opsvik’s unique design legacy including his pioneering ideas on chairs and sitting.

We are based in Pilestredet 27H in Oslo, a creative space that has been at the heart of Opsvik’s work since 1991.

Our licensees/ partners
At Peter Opsvik AS we collaborate closely with our licensees/ partners. Stokke, Flokk, Varier Furniture, and Form2 are licensed to produce, market and distribute Peter Opsvik’s furniture designs.

Our main focus:

1. Design: We maintain, update and curate Peter Opsvik’s existing products and concepts. His extensive portfolio continues to offer inspiration and opportunities for exploration and evolution.
2. Communication: We share Opsvik’s groundbreaking perspectives on sitting and the thinking behind his products, how they function, why they matter, and how they contribute to people’s everyday lives.
3. Legacy Management: We manage intellectual property and uphold the broader design legacy including the philanthropic aspects of Opsvik’s work
